OSWEGO, N.Y. -- James Dillon of the men's swimming and diving team has been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Nov. 15, 2015.

Dillon led the team to a dominating 116.5-79.5 victory, with two first-place finishes.

The junior, Oswego-native began his day by winning the 1000-yard freestyle for the first time this season. His time of 11:01.95, is a season-best by nearly five seconds. The performance collected nine points toward the team total.

In his second event, the 500-yard free, Dillon placed first with a near season-best time of 5:24.01. It was his first finish at the top of the standings in the event this year. This finish also scored nine points for Oswego.

The Lakers, which have now won four in a row, will host Brockport at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Laker Pool.
