Oswego State Athletics

Corey Marshall of the golf team was named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 11.

On Tuesday, Marshall shot a 75 which was third best for the tournament. This helped the Lakers capture their first win of the season topping the other three teams.

Over the weekend, the Lakers competed in the St. John Fisher College Invitational in which the sophomore placed in the top 10. Saturday’s competition was played at the Timber Banks Golf Course in which Marshall shot a 77 and 73 totaling for a 150 in two rounds of golf.

On Sunday, the Webster, N.Y. native shot an 87 at the Beaver Meadows Golf Club which placed him in eighth place for the overall tournament and led Oswego to a third-place finish.
