Sean Paul Owen of the golf team was named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 25.

On Monday, the Oswego hosted its home invitational tournament at the Oswego Country Club with Owen shooting a team leading 73.

His score of 73 was three shots better than the rest of the field and was also a career best.

The Oswego golf team has its last matchup of the season before the ECAC Championship as they travel to Elmira on Tuesday. Starting time for the tournament is 10 a.m.
