Luke Snyder of the men’s swimming and diving team was named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 23.

On Wednesday at RIT, the junior placed first in both diving events with scores of 229.55 and 242.40. Snyder also helped Oswego place second in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

The Winchester, Conn. native repeated his performance on Saturday at Oneonta as he again placed first in both diving events. He also took part in the 200-yard freestyle relay—in which the team placed fourth—swimming the second fastest time on the team.

Men’s swimming and diving returns to the pool at 1 p.m. on Saturday as it hosts the Wells Express at Laker Pool.
