OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Quincey Zimmerman of the women's basketball team has been named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 17, 2017. 

Zimmerman had a near flawless offensive night in Oswego's 91-80 victory at Cazenovia College on Friday. The sophomore was a perfect 4-for-4 from inside the 3-point line and went 4-for-6 from beyond the arc for a career-high 21 points. Her four made treys tied a career-best that she set earlier this year in a loss at Cortland on Dec. 2. Zimmerman also collected three rebounds and dished out two assists in 36 minutes of action. 

The Lakers are now on winter break until the new year, when they will return to action at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5 at New Paltz.
