OSWEGO, N.Y. - Senior Andrea Noss of the women's ice hockey team has been named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 7.

In the team's return to action following the winter break, Noss helped her squad to a 5-2 victory over the Utica College Pioneers.  Noss scored the game's second goal to put Oswego up 2-0.  When Utica closed the gap back to one early in the third period, Noss assisted on a pair of goals to ice the game for the Lakers.

Women's ice hockey is back in action this weekend with a home-and-away with SUNY Potsdam.  The Lakers play at home at 7 pm. on Friday night before traveling north 2 p.m. puck drop on Saturday.
