OSWEGO, N.Y. – Katie Reynolds - of the field hockey team – has been named an Oswego State Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 23.

Reynolds was dominant in the Lakers SUNYAC opener against Brockport on Saturday, in which she scored a career-high four goals in the 4-3 victory. She also scored two goals last Tuesday in a 6-3 loss to Nazareth.

The senior’s six goals on the week puts her fourth in the nation in both goals per game (1.67) and points per game (3.67). She also leads SUNYAC in both categories.

Reynolds and the Lakers will hit the road for a 4 p.m. start Wednesday against nationally-ranked Cortland.
