OSWEGO, N.Y. – Mikaela Ditonto – of the women’s ice hockey team – was named the Oswego State Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 20.

The Orchard Park, N.Y. native and the Lakers won two midweek home contests against Plymouth State last week to move to 8-4-3 on the season.  The senior goaltender stopped 32-of-33 shots with the lone goal coming by way of power play in a 2-1 victory.  Her .970 save percentage was the highest in game for a Laker goalie this season.

Ditonto and the Lakers hit the road for a weekend doubleheader at No. 2 Plattsburgh.  The puck drops at 7 p.m. Friday and again at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
