OSWEGO, N.Y. – Nick LeClair – of the men’s indoor track and field team – was named Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 27.

The Liverpool, N.Y. native competed at Cornell University’s Kane Invitational on Saturday, finishing first in the mile run among a field of twenty-five other runners. In this field were athletes from Division I schools Cornell, Colgate and Binghamton.

The senior finished with a time of 4:25.85. This is the second fastest mark posted in the SUNYAC for the mile this season.

LeClair and the Lakers travel to Utica College this weekend for the Pioneer Invitational, beginning at 10:30 AM on Saturday and 10 AM on Sunday.
