OSWEGO, N.Y. – Kevin O’Donnell – of the men’s lacrosse team – was named Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 24.

In Wednesdays 12-2 victory over St. Josephs, the sophomore goalie recorded 11 saves. He followed this with another stellar performance, stopping 13 shots in the Lakers 12-5 victory over Keuka on Saturday.

The Cleveland, Ohio native’s efforts were good for a .750 save percentage (24 saves on 32 attempts) in the two games, boosting his season average to .625, good for 25^th nationally.   

O’Donnell and the Lakers travel to Utica on Wednesday for a clash with the Pioneers, beginning at 4 p.m.
