OSWEGO, N.Y. – Kamryn Sherman – of the women’s lacrosse team – was named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 7.

The Buchanan, N.Y. native scored five goals with one assist in Oswego’s 15-11 victory over Potsdam on Saturday. Four of her goals came in the first half, after which the Lakers led 10-4, a lead they would not relinquish.

Her six point effort is a career high, and her 20 points is tied for fourth on the squad. Her shooting percentage (.625) leads the team and is a top-ten mark in the SUNYAC.

Sherman and the Lakers travel to Geneseo for a conference matchup at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
