OSWEGO, N.Y. – Julia Flohr – of the volleyball team – was named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 6.

The senior had a pair of double-doubles in helping the volleyball team earn a conference split this past weekend with a defeat of Oneonta in five sets .

The Liverpool, N.Y. native recorded 30 assists and 18 digs in a hard-fought four-set defeat to New Paltz on Friday evening before posting a 32-assist,17-dig effort on Saturday in the victory against Oneonta. Flohr leads Oswego with 433 assists on the season and is second on the team in digs with 180.

Flohr and the Lakers return to action as they host Nazareth College in non-conference action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
