Oswego, N.Y. - Walker Snowden - of the men’s swimming and diving team - was named Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 27.

The junior had an impressive weekend adding 3 wins for Oswego in helping lead the Lakers to their first victory of the season against Oneonta on Saturday.

The Tallahassee, Fla. native secured first place in the 50-yard free (21.51), 100-yard fly (54.80), and led off the winning 200-yard free relay (1:29.05), adding to the 148-92 victory.

Snowden also placed first in the same events against RIT on Wednesday.

Snowden and the Lakers travel to Aurora on Saturday at 1 p.m. to take on Wells Express.
