Francois, a junior on the men’s basketball team, had another outstanding performance for the Lakers on the boards. Francois tallied 13 points and 11 rebounds in a win on Tuesday against SUNY Brockport. He also contributed 17 points and 14 rebounds in another Lakers victory Saturday against SUNY Morrisville. Coach Broderick commented on Francois’ statistics and playing time, stating, “Stanley played only a bit more than half the game both nights because of the high score attained by the team. Otherwise, his stats would have been even better.” This is Francois’ second time receiving Oswego Athlete of the Week honors. He is currently ranked 2nd in the country in rebounding with an impressive 187 rebounds so far this season.
Francois, a wellness management major, is the son of Maryce and Jady Sanon.
