OSWEGO, N.Y. – Travis Broughman - of the men's ice hockey team - has been named Oswego State Co-Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 2.

Broughman scored the Lakers' second goal of a 3-2 win against SUNY Canton in the Consolation Game of the Best Western Clarion Oswego State Hockey Classic and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team. The Mechanicsville native leads the 9-4-1 Lakers in points (14) and is tied in assists (9).

The men's ice hockey team is back in action Sunday at 3 p.m. with a road contest against third-ranked Utica College. This will be the fifth nationally ranked opponent Oswego has faced this season.
