OSWEGO, N.Y. – Oswego State Athletics has released the Oswego Health Athletes of The Month for April. The selected individuals have been standouts in their sports in the month of April. This month’s award winners are Jake Owens of Men’s Golf and Isabella Lembo of Women’s Lacrosse.

Isabella Lembo also had a career-high month. Lembo had 32 points in the month of April, this included 30 goals and two assists in eight games played. Lembo had SIX multi-goal games and had an unbelievable playoff performance in the first round of SUNYAC’s against Oneonta. Lembo scored NINE goals, tying the Oswego State record for goals in a game. Lembo scored six points on 12 shots against Potsdam on April 7th and the goals continued to go in for the Junior out of Massapequa. Lembo scored in every game of the month after this game, this included two goals against Brockport, four against Plattsburgh, two against Buffalo State, seven against Oneonta, one against Cortland and the historic performance against Oneonta in the playoffs as mentioned above. Lembo led the Lakers in goals this season with 58, earning her fourth all time in a single season at Oswego State.
