Oswego State Athletics

OSWEGO, N.Y. – Oswego State Athletics has announced their September Oswego Health Athletes of The Month. The athletes that have been chosen for their success in their respective sports are Ellie Decker of Women’s Cross Country and Kieran Gilroy of Men’s Soccer.

Kieran Gilroy has had a fantastic start to the season, leading the Lakers in goals (3), points (6), shots (24), shots on goal (14) and is sixth on the team in minutes played with playing seven games and starting in all seven. The Lakers captain looks to keep his senior going in the upward direction as they go into October with a 2-3-4 record and take on Fredonia October 4th at 6:00PM on the road, Oneonta on September 7th at 12:00PM at home, Suny Geneseo on October 11th at 4:00PM in Geneseo, New Paltz on October 14th at 1:00PM in New Paltz, Buffalo State at home on October 18th at 4:00PM and the Lakers finish their season with the Cortland Red Dragons on October 21st at 1:00PM.
