Senior defenseman Lozzi scored a pair of goals, including the game winner, while adding two assists to lead sixth-ranked Oswego State to its third straight win, a 6-4 triumph over third-ranked Elmira College on Nov. 1. His back-to-back goals came in a 2:20 span after the Soaring Eagles pulled to within one goal, 4-3, midway through the third period. Lozzi also contributed on the defensive end with five blocked shots and eight hits. “Mark was the key penalty killer on the weekend that helped us defeat Elmira,” men’s hockey Coach Ed Gosek said.

A senior business accounting major, he is the son of Bert and Mirella Lozzi of Richmond Hill, Ont.
