Wopperer (Manlius/Fayetteville-Manlius) registered back-to-back shutouts for the Lakers in a SUNYAC weekend home sweep of SUNY Fredonia (2-0) and Buffalo State College (3-0), improving to 5-1 in conference play and gaining sole possession of third place in the standings. He made six saves in the win over Fredonia and stopped five shots on net against Buffalo State. Since taking over starting goalkeeping duties in the seventh game of the season, Wopperer has a 5-1 record with three shutouts and has yielded three goals in 540 minutes played.
