The Oswego State women's basketball team remained undefeated as the Lakers coasted to a 74-55 win over Geneseo as they never trailed. The Lakers are now 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the SUNY Athletic Conference.

The three wins to start the season tie a school record for most wins at the start of the season. That feat has now been accomplished four times with the most recent one prior to Tuesday coming the 1991-92 season.

The loss kept the Blue Knights winless on the year at 0-3, while opening 0-1 in conference play.
Sophomore Jessica Tremblay (Albany) paced the Lakers with 16 points and five rebounds, while senior Sally Shuster (East Amherst) netted 12 points, all on 3-pointers. Sophomore guard Kelly Mraz (Johnstown) had a balanced game with 11 points, 11 assists and five rebounds. Freshman Sarah Lombard (Saratoga Springs) chipped in with 10 points.

Geneseo's Felisa Brown (Tonawanda) led all scorers in the game with 19 points.

Up next for the Lakers are the Bombers of Ithaca College. The team will tip off on Friday, Dec. 3, at Laker Hall. Game time is 6 p.m.
