The Oswego State women's basketball team defeated Cazenovia College, 96-38, Thursday evening in Max Ziel Gymnasium at Laker Hall.

The Lakers gained possession at the opening tip-off, scored the first basket of the game and never looked back. Oswego ran off with a 50-15 lead at the intermission, and nearly doubled the score ending the game.
 
The Lakers boasted four players scoring in double figures. Lyndsey Marquit led the way with 18 points, five rebounds and five steals. Sarah Lombard finished the evening with 15 points, five rebounds, and four steals, while the duo of Ashley Jerome and Katie Kehn each contributed 14 points and combined for 11 rebounds.
  
The Lakers will travel to Daytona Beach, with games to be announced, Dec. 27 through Dec. 31.
