Oswego State Senior forward
Ahmad Mims became the 10th member of the Oswego State men's basketball 1,000-point club, as his 20 points points led the Lakers to a 71-64 win at Fredonia on Jan. 10.
Mims an elementary education major from Cicero, now has 1,004 career points and is averaging 15 points and 7.8 rebounds for the 9-2 Lakers.
Mims is the all-time leading shot-blocker at Oswego with 106 career blocks. Mims and his Laker teammates will attempt to improve on their 3-0 SUNYAC record as they host Potsdam at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, and SUNYIT at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14.
