The Oswego State field hockey team beat Rensselaer 1-0 Saturday, Oct. 14 at Laker Field. Senior Beth Patterson scored the game-winning goal with 1:07 remaining in the game to give Oswego State its second consecutive victory.

Oswego State won despite being out shot 14-2 by the Red Hawks. Senior goalkeeper Kaitlin Daniels stopped 10 shots en route to her second consecutive shutout, and third overall on the season.

The Lakers' record now stands at 3-12 while Rensselaer fell to 7-7.
