The Oswego State field hockey team lost 2-0 to Brockport on Thursday, Oct. 5 at Laker Field.

Brockport's Jenn Danker scored in the ninth minute on an assist from Amanda Pickard to give the Golden Eagles the early lead.  Less than twenty minutes later they tallied another goal as Andrea Maslowski found the net on an assist from Jessica Spitali, and the halftime lead of 2-0 held up for the rest of the game.

Laker goalkeeper Kaitlin Daniels recorded six saves and sophomore Lauren Layton added a defensive save. Oswego State was outshot 15-7 in the game.

Brockport improved to 5-6 with the victory, 3-2 in SUNYAC play. The Lakers fall to 1-11 overall, 0-4 in the conference.

Oswego State returns to action Saturday at New Paltz. They return home Wednesday to play Wells College.
