Tina Capozzi's second-half goal lifted the Ithaca Bombers to a 1-0 win over the Oswego State field hockey team on Wednesday afternoon at Laker Field.
Capozzi's goal, assisted by Bryce Meck, came with 21:02 remaining in the contest. Ithaca outshot Oswego State 24-9 in the game, and Laker goalie Kaitlin Daniels made 14 saves. Chelsea Mayo and Eileen Smith had defensive saves for Oswego State.
It was the final game in the Laker field hockey careers for five seniors: Sara Osier, Jennifer Tordy, Beth Patterson, Eileen Smith, and Kaitlin Daniels.
Oswego State finished its season with a 3-14 record, while Ithaca is now 6-11.
