Five players scored in double-figures for the Buffalo State Bengals as they pulled off an upset of the Oswego State Lakers on Friday, Feb. 3 at Maz Ziel Gymnasium. Gregg Jones, the third-leading scorer in the SUNYAC, led Buffalo State with 23 points. Lester McNair scored 18, Dion Mozelle has 12, Charles Hepburn scored 11, and Jobany Tirado added 10.
Mat Burridge scored a season-high 27 points and made all 11 of his free-throw attempts to pace the Lakers. Ahmad Mims scored 18 points and Todd Franze had 17. The rest of the Laker team contributed just 16 points.
The Lakers host Utica College on Tuesday at 8 p.m. in Max Ziel Gymnasium.
