The Oswego State women's soccer team lost 4-0 at New Paltz on Friday, Sept. 22. The Lakers fell to 1-1-0 in SUNYAC play and 1-6-0 overall.

New Paltz opened the scoring seven minutes into the game when Kerri Kelty scored the first of her two goals on the afternoon. She also assisted on the other two New Paltz goals, which were scored by Jamie McBain in the 32nd minute and Stephanie Potts in the 66th minute.

The Lakers had 10 shot attempts in the game and six were on net, but all six efforts were saved by Hawks keeper Sarah Boccard. Oswego State goalkeeper Melissa Hacknauer had six saves in the game.

Oswego State continues conference play on Saturday afternoon when the Lakers will play at Oneonta. The game begins at 1 p.m.
