The Oswego State men's basketball team overcame an eight-point halftime deficit and defeated visiting Brockport 102-89 at Max Ziel Gymnasium in Oswego on Tuesday.
The Lakers scored 62 points in the second half, and 29 of those came from the free-throw line, as Brockport committed 37 personal fouls in the game. Oswego State finished the night 38-for-62 from the line.
Five Oswego State players scored in double figures, led by Erik Roberson with 20 points. Tom Downing and Todd Franze scored 16 points each, Mat Burridge added 15, and Kyle Reuter had 14 points. The Lakers improved to 8-6 overall and 4-2 in the SUNYAC, while Brockport is 9-4 and 2-2 in the conference.
The Golden Eagles were led by 22 points from Shawn Harris and 14 points from Cantrel Parrish.
Oswego State's next game is Friday at Oneonta.
