The Oswego State men's basketball team outscored Cortland by 13 points in the second half and defeated the Red Dragons 56-51 in a SUNYAC game on Saturday night.

Erik Roberson led the Lakers with 18 points in the game, while Dominick White and Todd Franze scored 10 points each. Oswego State's defense held Cortland to just six field goals in the second half, and the Red Dragons shot 31.6 percent from the floor in the contest.

Mahamoud Jabbi was Oswego State's leading rebounder with eight boards in just 17 minutes of action. The Lakers are now 9-7 overall and 5-3 in the SUNYAC. They return to action Tuesday with a game at Utica College at 8 p.m.
