The Potsdam men's basketball team shot 55.6 percent from the field and beat Oswego State 83-72 on Saturday night at Jerry Welsh Gymnasium in Potsdam.

Erik Roberson led the Lakers with 25 points and seven rebounds. Mat Burridge added 12 points, and Tom Downing and Kyle Reuter had 11 points each.

The Lakers are now 10-9 overall and 6-4 in the SUNYAC. They return to the court on Saturday at Brockport.
