The Clarkson Golden Knights rallied from a 14-point halftime deficit to defeat the Oswego State men's basketball team 64-62 on Friday night at Max Ziel Gymnasium in Oswego.
Clarkson shot 53 percent from the field in the second half and the defense held the Lakers to just 23 points in the final 20 minutes in the come-from-behind victory. Jon Youngmann scored 18 points for Clarkson and led all scorers. Erick Vigansky and E.J. Harrison added 12 points each for the Golden Knights, who improved to 8-2 on the season.
Oswego State's Todd Franze led the team in scoring for the third consecutive game, with 15 points. Erik Roberson added 11 and Dominick White scored 10 for the Lakers, who lost their third straight game, all by three points or fewer. Oswego State is now 5-4 on the year, and returns to action Saturday afternoon at home against St. Lawrence. The game begins at 4 p.m.
