The Oswego State women's basketball team defeated Hamilton 76-59 on Saturday afternoon at Max Ziel Gymnasium in Oswego.
The Lakers, now 8-2 on the season, handed Hamilton its first loss of the year. The Continentals are now 5-1.
Oswego State was led by a very balanced scoring effort, as four players ended the game with double-digits in points, led by 15 from Lyndsey Marquit. Jessica Collins added 14 and Kelly Mraz and Lacey Kimpland scored 10 points each. The Lakers forced 28 turnovers.
Hamilton was led by Sydney Fasulo with 19 points and Pumla Sathula with 18.
The Lakers return to action on Tuesday, when they are back in SUNYAC play against Plattsburgh at 6 p.m. at Max Ziel Gymnasium.
