The Oswego State field hockey team lost 7-0 at the University of Rochester on Saturday afternoon. The Lakers are now 2-12 on the year.

Rochester took a 4-0 lead at halftime on goals by Amanda Case, Tara Gelb, Alicia Citro, and Kari Plewniak. Gelb added a second-half goal, and Lara Bucarey and Valerie Lazickas also scored.

Laker goalie Jamie Scharfe had six saves and Keiley Cirillo had a defensive save. Lori Teaney had Oswego State's only shot on goal.

Oswego State plays a pair of non-league home games this week, hosting Houghton Tuesday at 4 p.m. and Nazareth on Thursday at 4 p.m.
