The Oswego State women's soccer team defeated Clarkson 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Clarkson Field in Potsdam.
The Lakers scored the only goal of the game off a corner kick, as the ball was served into the box and took several deflections before Oswego State sophomore Megan Salada controlled it and got off a low shot into the corner of the net. It was the first goal of the season for Salada and proved to be the game-winning goal.
Clarkson outshot Oswego State 15-9 in the game and Laker goalkeeper Toby Klein made eight saves in recording her fifth shutout of the season. Golden Knights goalkeeper Megan Emlaw had three saves.
The Lakers are now 6-10-1 and will conclude their regular season at home on Saturday at 3 p.m. against Scranton.
