The Oswego State field hockey team lost 2-0 at Brockport on Thursday afternoon. The Lakers are now 1-10 on the season and 1-4 in SUNYAC play.

After a scoreless first half, Brockport's Jackie Reed scored just 2:33 into the second half to give the host Golden Eagles the lead. Reed's goal was a tip-in off a shot after a penalty corner. Allyson Granish added an insurance goal for Brockport in the 57th minute, assisted by Kelly Henry.

Oswego State was outshot 13-5 in the game, and Laker goalie Jamie Scharfe had eight saves in the game. The Lakers will return to the field on Saturday at 1 p.m. against New Paltz.
