The Oswego State men's basketball team lost 83-68 to Nazareth on Saturday at Max Ziel Gymnasium in Oswego. The Golden Eagles had six players score in double figures and shot almost 58 percent from the field.
Laker point guard Nick Perioli had 15 points and added five assists for Oswego State. With those five assists, Perioli is now the all-time leader in career assists with 432, surpassing the record previously held by Joe Jones, who graduated in 1987.
Kyle Reuter and Nick Perioli each scored 15 points to lead the Lakers, and Dom White added 11. Oswego State shot just 33 percent from the field. White added nine rebounds for the Lakers.
Nazareth's Joe Canori and Corey McAdam each scored 15 points, and Ryan McAdam and Rayvon Higdon scored 14 points apiece for the Golden Flyers. Jeff DeHimer added 12 and Tyler Smith scored 11 for Naz.
With the loss, the Lakers fell to 4-1 on the year and Nazareth improved to 3-1 with the victory.
