The Oswego State women's ice hockey team lost 5-1 on Sunday afternoon against Neumann College in Aston, Pa.

The lone Oswego State goal was scored by Jenna Kirkwood, in the third period, on an assist from Stephanie Esposito.

After a scoreless first period, the Knights scored twice in the second to take the lead, with a goal just 1:15 into the period and then another in the last minute of the middle period.

Laker goalie Hilary Hitchman made 50 saves in the contest, and Oswego State is now 2-6-1 on the year and 0-6-0 in ECAC Women's West play. The Lakers will return to action after the new year at the Codfish Bowl hosted by UMass-Boston on Jan. 5-6.
