The Oswego State women's basketball team outscored Plattsburgh by 14 points in the second half and defeated the Cardinals 62-52 on Tuesday night.
Samantha Driscoll scored 22 points to lead the Lakers, making four 3-pointers and converting 10-of-11 free throws. Heather Merino added 12 points as the Laker bench outscored the starting five 40-22 in the contest. Alaina Hannahs and Kelly Mraz each had five assists and Jessica Tremblay had 10 rebounds.
Oswego State is now 16-7 overall and 10-5 in the SUNYAC, while Plattsburgh fell to 6-17 overall and 3-11 in the conference.
The Lakers wrap up their regular season on Saturday against Buffalo State. The game starts at 6 p.m.
