The Oswego State men's basketball team defeated Buffalo State 77-69 as the three senior players were prominent in the victory.
Mat Burridge scored 22 points and added 10 rebounds for the Lakers. Classmates Erik Roberson and Todd Franze also had strong performances. Roberson was the team's second-leading scorer with 18 points, and Franze helped the offense all night with eight assists.
Oswego State shot 51 percent from the field in the game.
Tom Downing (12 points) and Kyle Reuter (10) also helped Oswego State, which ended the regular season with a 14-11 record and a 10-6 mark in the SUNYAC. The Lakers will host a playoff game on Tuesday at 8 p.m. against an opponent to be determined.
Dante Griggs scored 17 points and added 13 rebounds for the Bengals, who outrebounded the Lakers 53-37. Dion Mozelle added 14 points and John Lawal scored 10.
