The Oswego State women's ice hockey team lost 5-1 at Plattsburgh on Sunday afternoon.
Plattsburgh scored four goals in the first period against Laker starting goalie Erin Robson. After a scoreless second period, the Cardinals added their fifth goal on the power play in the third period.
Oswego State's goal came with 5:06 remaining in the contest, scored by Stephanie Esposito with assists going to Jessica O'Grady and Jessica Lister. Laker goalie Hilary Hitchman replaced Robson after the first period and allowed just one goal on 35 shots over the last 40 minutes.
The Lakers are 6-10-2 overall and 2-7-2 in the ECAC Women's West. Plattsburgh, currently ranked first nationally, is 17-0-2 and 8-0-2 in the ECAC Women's West.
