The Oswego State women's basketball team lost 58-48 to Brockport on Friday night at Tuttle North Gymnasium in Brockport.
The Lakers led 45-42 with 4:21 left to play in regulation after freshman Traci Bacon connected on her second three-pointer of the night. But the Golden Eagles responded with a 9-0 run to reclaim and the lead for good.
Sam Driscoll led all Oswego State scorers with 12 points while pulling down seven rebounds. Bacon was the only other double-figure scorer for the Lakers with 10.
Brockport senior guard Ashley Broadhurst poured in 14 points to go along with six assists and five rebounds for the Golden Eagles. Classmate Kim Schon led the front court effort with 13 points and seven rebounds.
Oswego State's record fell to 5-7 on the season, 1-4 in SUNYAC play. Brockport is now 11-2 overall, and remain in first place of the SUNAYC West division with a 4-0 conference mark. The Lakers return to action Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. when they visit Geneseo.
