The Oswego State women's soccer team gave up three goals in the game's opening 28 minutes and yielded three more in the second half en route to registering its eighth straight loss of the season, a 6-0 defeat at SUNY New Paltz, on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The Lakers (5-11-1 overall, 1-8-1 SUNYAC) were limited to only two shots in the opening half and six shots for the game, while 11 of 17 shots by the host Hawks (9-7-1 overall, 5-4-1 SUNYAC) were on goal. Elena Jaroff scored a pair of goals, while four other players added single scores. Oswego goalkeeper Toby Klein (Westbury/W.T Clarke) and New Paltz netminder Sarah Boccard each registered five saves.
Oswego plays Clarkson University in its final home game of the season on Wednesday, Oct. 29, before travelling to the University of Scranton on Friday, Oct 31 for its 7 p.m. season finale.
