ONEONTA - SUNY Oneonta senior Shannon Weir led a second half charge with 10 points to help propel the Red Dragons to a 61-52 key win against Oswego State in SUNYAC women¹s basketball action on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at the Dewar Arena.  The two teams entered tonight¹s contest tied for third place in the conference standings with seven games to play in the regular season.  The two teams will meet one more time on Feb. 14 at Oswego.

Weir hit 4-of-4 from the field in the second half and Oneonta (14-3, 7-2 SUNYAC) shot 52 percent as a team in taking the nine point win.  Weir finished the contest with a team high 15 points.

The Red Dragons quickly increased its one-point halftime lead to 32-25 with the first six points of the second half.
