Sara Budde sent a cross through the offensive zone as Roetzer tipped the ball out of the air into the back of the net. Roetzer added her second goal minutes later when she ripped a shot for the top right circle past Elmira goaltender Lauren Thomas to put the Lakers ahead 2-0.
