Three of the four teams in the Max Ziel Women's Basketball Tournament will be looking for the first wins of the season, including host Oswego State, which looks to defend last year's title.

Laker Athletics Wheel
The Lakers are coming off a 73-39 loss to eighth-ranked University of Rochester on Tuesday.  Kayla Ryan and Meagan Stover paced Oswego State with seven points apiece, as the offense struggled from the floor shooting 32 percent.  Kari Kipper added seven rebounds in the losing effort, while Ryan grabbed six boards herself.  The Lakers have a young squad this season with four new starters as they look to qualify for their 11th consecutive SUNYAC Playoff appearance after an 11-15 season.
