The third-ranked Oswego State men's ice hockey team will host No. 7 Bowdoin in the NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey quarterfinal round on Saturday, March 12 at 7 p.m. The Polar Bears defeated Neumann, 2-1, Wednesday night in Brunswick, Maine to earn the right to play the Lakers in quarterfinals. Oswego State enters the game with a record of 22-4, while the Polar Bears are 19-7-1 after the victory. The game can be seen over the Internet, heard on the radio, or watched on Campus Channel 10 and Local Channel 96.
Last year, the Lakers defeated Bowdoin, 9-2, in the quarterfinal round to advanced to the NCAA Finals in Lake Placid. The winner of Saturday's game will face the winner of the Adrian/Elmira game on Friday, March 25 at 4:30 ET in Minneapolis, Minn.
Tickets are still available for the game. Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $3 for SUNY Oswego students with valid college ID.
