Brockport, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer team overcame The College at Brockport in a double overtime game Friday, winning 3-2. With the win, The Lakers gained three points in the SUNYAC standings, putting them in a tie for second place with Oneonta. Oswego is now 4-3 in conference play and 9-5 overall while Brockport falls to 8-3-1, 3-2-1.
Oswego scored in the 100th minute of the game off of header goal from
Nicole Perniciaro. She scored off a great pass through the box from teammate
Tia Segretto.
Brockport struck first, with Chelsea Stahl scoring the first goal of the game at 14:35. Oswego's
Georgia Traynor answered four minutes later, tying the game at 1-1.
Bri Dolan started the action in the second half, scoring an unassisted goal at 52:42. The goal was her third of the season.
Stahl scored her second goal of the game in the 82nd minute to tie the game at two goals apiece.
Oswego and Brockport both shot three times in the first overtime, but neither team was able to capitalize.

Alyssa Glasshagel out saved Brockport's Laura Thompson 9-5 in the game.
Oswego is back in action when it takes on SUNY Geneseo at 1 p.m. on Saturday for another SUNYAC matchup.
