Olivia Boersen was named Most Valuable Player of the Classic while Hagg was honored with All-Classic Team.
Castleton State opened the scoring at the 14:14 mark of the first period when Lisa Kilroy found the back of the net off a pass from Nicoline Jensen. Oswego answered right back with

Emma Smetaniuk were credited with assists on Jarvis' first goal of the young season.
The Lakers doubled up the Spartans in shots in the opening period, 16-8.
Mady Paul gave Oswego the go-ahead goal at 3:54 in the second period. Paul beat the goal on her left side from a
Melissa Seamont pass.
In the second, the Lakers nearly tripled Castleton State in shot attempts, winning the battle 17-6.
The Spartans found a way to even the score midway through the third. Castleton's Brie Narodowy scored with 7:46 left in the game off passes from Rachel Bombardier and Samantha McNeil.
Despite outshooting Castleton 47-20 in regulation, overtime was needed to decide a victor.
The Lakers starter
