Oswego, N.Y. -- The Oswego State women's soccer's goalkeeper Emily Varonier was perfect Sunday as the Lakers shutout Alfred State 3-0.

Oswego's offense kept the ball on Alfred State's half of the field for most of the game while the Laker defense did not let much get to the box when the ball did cross midfield.

Erin Harding scored her first goal of the season from the top left of the box at 30:05 with an assist from Tia Segretto.

Nikki Liadka netted her eighth goal of the season off a pass from Georgia Traynor in the 61st minute.

Jill Keevil sent a pass to Segretto who beat Alfred goalie Krista DeCarlo to make it a 3-0 at 75:07.

Oswego outshot Alfred 27-3 in the game.

The Lakers play again at 4 p.m. on Friday when they host D'Youville College.
