Morrisville, N.Y. -- The Oswego State field hockey team recorded its second win of the season on Friday, beating Morrisville State 4-0. The win also marked the SUNYAC season opener for ther Lakers, making the team 1-0 in conference play .

Rachel Johnston scored the first goal of the game at 2:06 from the left corner off of a pass from Lisa O'Callaghan.

Grace Rinaldi followed suit at 10:55 with an assist from Ashley Fiorille. Fiorille is currently ranked in the top 20 of assists per game in this week's NCAA national statistics.

Ashley Collins added an unassisted goal to the Laker lead at 60:25 to make the score 3-0.

Courtney Collins scored unassisted 30 seconds later for the 4-0 final.

The Lakers outshot the Mustangs 34-11 in the game.

Oswego will be back in action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday when it travels to take on the Highlanders of Houghton College.
